EPIPLOONS OF SEMIAXES

Epiploons are a part of the bearing of a drive. Greasing is entered into the bearing on manufacturer and the bearing does not require service.
If around the bearing greasing traces are found out, the bearing is subject to replacement. Works necessary thus are described more low in subsection "Removal and installation of semiaxes and the semiaxis bearing".

EPIPLOON REPLACEMENT IN THE BRIDGE SLEEVE (MODEL WITH ABS)

The epiploon in a bridge sleeve is established only for cars with ABS and disk brakes. Bridges of cars without ABS have an arm of the bearing without an epiploon.
Epiploon replacement is carried out as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take out полуось from a bridge sleeve (the corresponding subsection see).

2. Take out an epiploon a screw-driver from a bridge sleeve

3. Запрессуйте a new epiploon by means of a corresponding pipe

4. Establish полуось into place.

CONSOLIDATION OF THE COVER OF CARTER OF DIFFERENTIAL

At a suspension bracket with screw springs mark position of a sleeve of the bridge concerning an arm of a connecting bar of a regulator of pressure of a brake.

If screw springs are not present, works are carried out as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn on two nuts.

2. Remove an arm of a regulator of pressure of a brake from an axis on a cover картера differential.

3. Substitute capacity under картер differential.

4. Turn out a drain stopper in the bridge.

5. Merge oil.

6. Turn away twelve bolts of fastening of a cover and uncover.

7. Carefully clear interfaced surfaces картера and covers.

8. Put hermetic on a cover.

9. Again establish it on картер, having fixed bolts.

10. In regular intervals tighten bolts the moment of 24 Nanometers.

11. If there are connecting bars of a regulator of pressure of a brake, establish them according to marks and fix bolts.

12. Fill in in the bridge oil to the bottom edge of an aperture under a stopper.

REPLACEMENT OF THE EPIPLOON OF THE LEADING GEAR WHEEL OF THE MAIN TRANSFER

Work represents certain complexities, since. Demands measurement of the moment of a preliminary tightness of bearings of a leading gear wheel with the subsequent full dismantling, assemblage and knot adjustment. Therefore it is recommended to spend replacement of an epiploon of a leading gear wheel in a repair truck.
