From the middle of 1995 of release Frontera it is equipped with disk brakes of back wheels. The antiblocking system is an additional complete set. Forward disks have been increased till the diameter of 280 mm. Disks have a thickness of 26 mm.
Back wheels of the car to the middle of 1995 of release are equipped by drum-type brakes, after the specified term the disk brakes taken from car Monterey, also let out by firm Opel. Diameter of disks of 313 mm, a thickness of 18 mm. On an inside of back disks are колодки a lay brake.
The brake system contains the vacuum amplifier located between a brake pedal and the main brake cylinder. Разряжение undertakes from the engine. The combination of the main brake cylinder to the vacuum amplifier has been entered after processing of a design of brake system. The main brake cylinder and the vacuum amplifier are not subject to repair and in case of their damage are replaced.
