Check of coupling without removal

THE GENERAL DATA

Before removal of coupling for the purpose of its replacement it is necessary to perform following works for definition of a place of damage.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Start the engine and allow to it to work on single turns.

2. Press a pedal of coupling and wait nearby 3 with.

3. Include a backing. If from a transmission noise it can specify in presence of damages to coupling or in connection of coupling with a flywheel is audible.

For coupling check on proslipping the following becomes:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Will sweep on the car some distance so that the transmission and coupling have got warm to working temperature.

2. Stop the car and cock a lay brake. Include the third transfer.

3. Press a coupling pedal. Increase number of turns of the engine to 3000 - 4000 rpm and suddenly release a pedal. If the engine stops at once, coupling works normally.
