Removal and transmission installation

THE GENERAL DATA

Removal and installation are described separately depending on engine type.

On an illustration an arrangement of jellied stoppers (2 stoppers) transmissions MUA. At check of level of oil both stoppers turn away.
Drain stopper of transmission MSG. The stopper serves for plum of oil from a transmission and a distributing box.
If transmission MUA is established, there is one drain stopper in a transmission and one in a distributing box. At oil plum both stoppers turn away.

The engine of 2.0 l (transmission MSG)

Before transmission removal it is necessary to spend some spadework described more low. It is necessary to remove levers of switching and a choice of transfers, and also a switching side scene.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift and establish the car on supports.
2. Turn out a drain stopper from картера.
3. Cлейте oil in the substituted capacity.
4. Turn away four bolts.
5. Remove a guard under a distributing box.
6. At the car till 1997 of release disconnect a flexible shaft of a drive of a speedometer.
7. At the car after 1997 of release расстыкуйте штекерное connection of a drive of a speedometer. The exception is made by cars with ABS.
8. Disconnect wires of the switch of lanterns of a backing and the switch of the control of the engine.
9. Disconnect a wire of a control lamp of inclusion of a full drive.
10. Remove forward and back карданные shaft as it is described in corresponding section.
11. Turn away both bolts of fastening of the working hydrocylinder of a drive of coupling.
12. Remove the cylinder. Will put it aside.
13. Bring under a transmission the garage lift (if it is necessary, enclose wooden брусок).
14. Raise a transmission so that to unload a cross-beam.
15. Turn away bolts.
16. Remove a collar of fastening of the muffler from a cross-beam.
17. Turn away a nut of fastening of an arm of a transmission in the cross-beam centre.
18. Turn away four bolts from the left and right parties of a cross-beam in a place of its fastening to a longitudinal beam. Cross-beam fastening to a transmission is shown on an illustration.
19. Turn away connecting bolts between the engine and a transmission.
20. Cautiously separate the engine from a transmission. Watch that the transmission has not fallen from a jack. For this purpose it is necessary to take advantage of the help of the assistant. Keep in mind that the transmission has the big weight.

The transmission as follows is established:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clear interfaced surfaces of a transmission and the engine.
2. Check up also, whether connection of a primary shaft and the cover plug are carefully cleared the bearing of deenergizing of coupling, шлицевое.
3. If there are doubts in serviceability of the bearing, it is necessary to replace it. Too most concerns coupling if before removal it had defects in work.
4. Grease with universal greasing all sliding and rotating surfaces.
5. Include transfer for simplification of gearing with a conducted disk of coupling.
6. Lift a transmission a garage jack and bring to the engine.
7. Enter a primary shaft of a transmission into a conducted disk of coupling.
8. If at once it is not possible to reach connection, it is necessary to turn some times a shaft flange forward and back so that the shaft has entered into gearing.
9. Completely press a transmission to the engine. Thus two pins on the block of cylinders should enter into corresponding apertures in a transmission.
10. After the backlash between engine and transmission flanges is chosen, screw bolts of fastening and in regular intervals tighten the moment of 70 Nanometers for the engine to the middle of 1995 of release.
11. For engines of later release there are bolts of two sizes: big, tighten the moment of 68 Nanometers and small, tighten the moment of 41 Nanometers. A garage jack leave under a transmission.
12. Establish a cross-beam and fix.
13. Bolts in the middle tighten the moment of 48 Nanometers, bolts on an outer side the moment of 80 Nanometers.
14. Lower the garage lift and roll out it.
15. Screw bolts of fastening of the cylinder of coupling.
16. Tighten the moment of 28 Nanometers.
17. Other works spend to sequences, return to removal.
18. Installation карданного a shaft is described in corresponding section.
19. The moment of an inhaling of a guard of a distributing box makes 47 Nanometers.
20. In summary fill in oil in a transmission.
21. Establish levers of switching and a choice of transfers as it is described more low. The same concerns a switching side scene.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE LEVER OF THE GEAR CHANGE

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn away screws.
2. Disconnect handles from levers of switching and a choice of transfers.
3. Turn away four bolts of fastening.
4. Remove a fringing of a rubber cover of the lever of a gear change.
5. Remove a rubber cover from an aperture in a floor and levers.
6. Remove пыльник from an edge of basic sheet of the lever.
7. Turn out three bolts in the centre of the lever of switching.
8. Now it is possible to take out the lever.

Installation is carried out as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Oil подпятник шаровый support.
2. Insert the switching lever.
3. Put basic sheet.
4. Fix three bolts the switching lever.
5. Other works are carried out in sequence, return to removal.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE LEVER OF THE CHOICE OF TRANSFERS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect handles of levers of switching and a choice of transfers.
2. Turn away four bolts of fastening
3. Remove a fringing of a rubber cover of the lever of a gear change.
4. Remove a rubber cover from an aperture in a floor and levers.
5. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of the lever of a choice of transfers and take out the lever.
Lever installation is carried out in sequence, to return its removal.
6. Oil before installation подпятник шаровый support and a support of the lever of a choice of transfers.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE SIDE SCENE OF SWITCHING

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. After removal of levers of switching and a choice of transfers as it is described above, turn away four bolts.
2. Take out a switching side scene
3. At installation bolts tighten the moment of 20 Nanometers.
4. The side scene can be disassembled. However at removal and installation of a transmission it is not required.

The engine of 2.0 l and 2.2 l (transmission MUA)

Before transmission removal it is necessary to remove levers of switching and a choice of transfers as it is described above.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift and establish the car on supports.
2. Turn out drain stoppers from a transmission and a distributing box.
3. Merge oil in the substituted capacity.
4. Turn away four bolts.
5. Remove a guard under a distributing box.
6. At the car till 1997 of release disconnect a flexible shaft of a drive of a speedometer.
7. At the car after 1997 of release расстыкуйте штекерное connection of a drive of a speedometer. The exception is made by cars with ABS.
8. Disconnect a wire of the switch of back lanterns and the switch of the control of the engine.
9. Disconnect a wire of a control lamp of inclusion of a full drive.
10. Remove forward and back карданные shaft as it is described in corresponding section.
11. Turn away both bolts of fastening of the working cylinder of a drive of coupling.
12. Remove the cylinder. Will put the cylinder aside.
13. Disconnect and remove a reception pipe of the muffler.
14. Bring under a transmission the garage lift (if it is necessary, enclose wooden брусок) and raise a transmission so that to unload a cross-beam.
15. Turn away a nut of fastening of an arm of a transmission in the cross-beam centre.
16. Turn away four bolts of fastening with left and with right the cross-beam parties, in its junction with a longitudinal beam.
17. Cross-beam fastening to a transmission is shown on an illustration.
18. Turn away connecting bolts between the engine and a transmission.
19. Cautiously separate the engine from a transmission.
20. Watch that the transmission has not fallen from a jack. For this purpose it is necessary to take advantage of the help of the assistant. Keep in mind that the transmission has the big weight.

12. In regular intervals tighten their moment of 45 Nanometers for the engine of 2.4 l. And the moment of 68 Nanometers for engines of 2.2 l. A garage jack leave under a transmission.
13. Establish a cross-beam and fix.
14. Bolts in the centre tighten the moment of 50 Nanometers, bolts on an outer side the moment of 80 Nanometers.
15. Lower the garage lift and roll out it.
16. Screw bolts of fastening of the cylinder of coupling.
17. Tighten their moment of 28 Nanometers.
18. Other works spend to sequences, return to removal.

20. The moment of an inhaling of a guard of a distributing box makes 47 Nanometers.
