1. The wide spectrum of engine failures is connected with infringement of functioning of system of cooling. On the models equipped АТ, the given system provides also cooling ATF, supporting thereby optimum conditions for transmission functioning.
2. Check of a condition of components of system of cooling should be made after full cooling of the power unit (not less than in three hours after an engine stop).

3. Uncover a radiator / a broad tank for what at first turn it to the left to the first emphasis. 4. Attentively examine top and bottom радиаторные hoses, and also hoses of system of heating of the salon, having smaller diameter and located between the power unit and a back partition of an impellent compartment. Check hoses on all their length and in case of revealing of cracks, swellings and signs of ageing of a material make replacement of defective components. Small cracks usually to make out at сжимании a hose easier. Without dependence from a condition it is necessary to change hoses approximately time in two years.

8. Every second check, and also at first signs of infringement of functioning of system of cooling make check of a cover of a radiator by pressure. Preliminary examine a cover on presence of signs of development of corrosion and mechanical damages. By means of a special tester check up serviceability of functioning of a safety valve of a cover. Increase pressure until the arrow of the device will not stop, - pressure above limiting service value (83 кПа) should be kept by a cover within not less than 5-6 seconds. At negative results of check replace a cover. Standard value of pressure of opening of the valve of a cover of a radiator makes 93 ÷ 123 кПа.
9. If at temperature of a cooling liquid from above 76-80°C the radiator remains cool to the touch, check up serviceability of functioning of the thermostat (see the Head of System of cooling, heating). If the thermostat does not open at 76-80°C, make its replacement.
10. If at temperature of a cooling liquid 90-94°C the fan of system of cooling is not activated, check up serviceability of functioning of a thermoswitch/privodnoj the fan electromotor. |
