Check of signals of input-output TCM

The function chart of signals of input-output TCM and card of identification of contact plugs of electric sockets are presented on illustrations.

Switch off ignition and check up pressure on the plug № 1 socket В56 - the rating value makes 10 ÷ 13 Century

 All further checks are spent at the included ignition.


Include ignition (the engine do not start) and check up pressure on plugs №№ 1 and 23 sockets В54 (check of giving of pressure of ignition), - the rating value makes 10 ÷ 13 Century

For check of signals of input-output of the gauge-switch of the permission of start it is necessary to check up pressure on plugs of socket В55 in each of positions of the lever of selector AT:

a) the Plug № 1: pressure should be switched between ranges less than 1 In (the lever in position «Р») and more than 8 In (the lever in any other position, except «N»);
b) the Plug № 14: pressure should be switched between ranges less than 1 In (the lever in position «N») and more than 8 In (the lever in any other position, except «Р»);
c) the Plug № 3: pressure should be switched between ranges less than 1 In (the lever in position «R») and more than 8 In (the lever in any other position, except «N»);
d) the Plug № 4: pressure should be switched between ranges less than 1 In (the lever in position «D») and more than 8 In (the lever in any other position);
e) the Plug № 5: pressure should be switched between ranges less than 1 In (the lever in position «3») and more than 8 In (the lever in any other position);
f) the Plug № 6: pressure should be switched between ranges less than 1 In (the lever in position «2») and more than 8 In (the lever in any other position);
g) the Plug № 7: pressure should be switched between ranges less than 1 In (the lever in position «1») and more than 8 In (the lever in any other position).

For check of signals of the gauge-switch of braking check up pressure on the plug № 12 sockets В55, - at the squeezed out pedal of a foot brake the result of measurement should make more than 10.5 In, and at the released pedal - less than 1 Century

Check up polarity of connection of plugs №№ 9 (+) and 18 (-) socket В56 (a signal of data exchange VDC).

For check of signals of the gauge-switch of activation of a mode kickdown check up pressure on the plug № 11 sockets В55, - at completely squeezed out pedal of gas the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, at released - more than 6.5 Century

For check of the light indicator of temperature ATF check up pressure on the plug № 10 sockets В56, - at the switched off indicator the result of measurement should make more than 9 In, and at included - less than 1 Century

For check of signals of the gauge of position throttle заслонки (TPS) check up pressure on the plug № 3 sockets В54, - at completely closed заслонке the result of measurement should not fall outside the limits a range 0.3 ÷ 0.7 In, at completely opened заслонке - 4.0 ÷ 4.6 Century

For check of serviceability of giving of a food on TPS check up pressure on the plug № 2 sockets В54, the result of measurement should make 4.8 ÷ 5.3 Century

For check of signals of the gauge of temperature ATF check up pressure on the plug № 11 sockets В54 and its resistance concerning the case. At temperature ATF 20°С results of measurements should make 1.6 ÷ 2.0 In and 2.1 ÷ 2.9 clod, accordingly; at temperature 80°С: 0.4 ÷ 0.9 In and 275 ÷ 375 Ohm.

For check of signals forward/back gauges of speed of the car (VSS) check up pressure on the plug № 18/24 sockets В55 and its resistance concerning the case. At the motionless car pressure should be absent, and at speed not less the result of measurement should make than 20 km/h more than 1 In (alternating current). Resistance in both cases should not fall outside the limits a range 450÷ 650 Ohm.

For check of signals of the gauge of turns of the turbine of the hydrotransformer check up pressure on the plug № 8 sockets В55 and its resistance concerning the case. At work of the heated-up engine on single turns in a range «D» АТ pressure should be absent, in a range «N» the result of measurement should make more than 1 In (alternating current). Resistance in both cases should make 450 ÷ 650 Ohm.

For check of a target signal of speed of the car check up pressure on the plug № 17 sockets В56, - at speed of movement no more than 10 km/h the result of measurement should not get to limits of a range 1 ÷ 4 Century

For check of a signal of turns of the engine check up pressure on the plug № 17 sockets В55, - at the working engine the result of measurement should make 8 ÷ 11 In, at the muffled engine - more than 10.5 Century

For signal check темпостата check up pressure on the plug № 22 sockets В55, - at included indicator "SET" the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, at switched off - more than 6.5 Century

For check of signals of 1/2 distributions of a twisting moment check up pressure on the plug № 5/14 sockets В56, - at the working engine the result of measurement should make more than 4 Century

For check of signals of switching-off of the control of distribution of a twisting moment check up pressure on the plug № 10 sockets В55, - the result of measurement should make 8 Century

For check of a signal of pressure in the inlet pipeline (MAP) check up pressure on the plug № 1 socket В54, - at work of the heated-up engine on single turns the result of measurement should make 1.2 ÷ 1.8 Century

For check of a signal of electromagnetic valves of switchings 1/2 check up pressure on the plug 22/5 sockets В55 and its resistance concerning the case. On 1st and 4-4/1st and 2nd transfers the result of measurement should make more than 9 In, and on 2nd and 3-3/3rd and 4th - less than 1 V.Soprotivlenie in both cases should make 10÷ 16 Ohm.

For check of signals of the executive electromagnetic valve of pressure in a line muffle the heated-up engine and measure pressure on the plug № 9 sockets В54, and its resistance concerning the case. At completely open throttle заслонке the result of measurement should make less than 0.5 In, and at completely closed заслонке - 1.5÷ 4.0 V.Soprotivlenie in both cases should make 2.0 ÷ 4.5 Ohm.

For check of signals of the executive electromagnetic valve of blocking of the hydrotransformer check up pressure on the plug № 7 sockets В54 and its resistance concerning the case. At the included blocking the result of measurement should make less than 8.5 In, and at switched off - less than 0.5 V.Soprotivlenie in both cases should make 10 ÷ 17 Ohm.

For check of signals of the executive electromagnetic valve of the distributing device check up pressure on the plug № 6 sockets В54 and its resistance concerning the case. At the established safety lock «FWD» the result of measurement should make more than 8.5 In, and at removed (throttle заслонка it is completely open, and the selector lever is translated in position «1») - less than 0.5 V.Soprotivlenie in both cases should make 10 ÷ 17 Ohm.

For check of signals of the executive electromagnetic valve of a brake 2-4 muffle the heated-up engine and check up pressure on the plug № 18 sockets В54 and its resistance concerning the case. At completely open throttle заслонке the result of measurement should make less than 0.5 In, and at completely closed заслонке - 1.5 ÷ 4.0 V.Soprotivlenie in both cases should make 2.0 ÷ 4.5 Ohm.

For check of signals of the distributive electromagnetic valve of a brake 2-4 check up pressure on the plug № 16 sockets В54 and its resistance concerning the case. On 1st transfer the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, on 3rd - more than 9 V.Soprotivlenie in both cases should make 10 ÷ 16 Ohm.

For check of signals of the distributive electromagnetic valve of coupling of lowering transfers check up pressure on the plug № 15 sockets В54 and its resistance concerning the case. On 2nd transfer the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, and on 4th - more than 9 V.Soprotivlenie in both cases should make 10 ÷ 16 Ohm.

For check of switches of modes «HOLD» / »POWER» check up pressure on the plug № 16/23) socket В55. At the included mode the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, at switched off - more than 8/10 Century

For check of the light indicator of a mode «POWER» check up pressure on the plug № 11 sockets В56, - at the included indicator the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, and at switched off - more than 9 Century

For switch "FWD" check (model without VDC) check up pressure on the plug № 20 sockets В55, - at the established safety lock «FWD» the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, at removed - 6 ÷ 9.1 Century

For indicator "FWD" check (model without VDC) check up pressure on the plug № 2 sockets В56, - at the established safety lock «FWD» the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, at removed - more than 9 Century

For check of signal ABS (models without VDC) check up pressure on the plug № 21 sockets В55, - at activated ABS the result of measurement should make less than 1 In, and at деактивированной - 6.5 ÷ 15 Century

For check of lines of grounding of gauges 1, 2, 3 and 4 check up pressure on plugs № 20 sockets В54, № 9 sockets В55 and №№ 10 and 19 sockets В54, accordingly, and also their resistance concerning the case. Pressure should be absent, and resistance - not to exceed 1 Ohm.

For check of a system line of grounding check up pressure on plugs № 19 sockets В56 and № 21 sockets В54, and also their resistance concerning the case. Pressure should be absent, and resistance - not to exceed 1 Ohm.

For check of wave signals of diagnostics АТ check up pressure on the plug № 21 sockets В56, - the result of measurement should not get to limits of a range 1 ÷ 4 Century

For check of diagnostic signal SSM the plug 15 sockets В56 serves.

Reading of codes of malfunctions (DTC)


With application of firm diagnostic scanner Subaru (SSM)

SSM it is intended for reading of codes of malfunctions (DTC) and the current data, and also for clearing of memory of the processor of the module of management.

Prepare SSM. Connect to it a diagnostic cable and insert a cartridge.

Connect SSM to located at the left under the panel of devices to diagnostic socket DLC.

 Socket DLC is intended ONLY FOR connection of scanners SSM and GST (the standard input reader for systems of onboard self-diagnostics OBD-II)!


Include ignition (the engine do not start).

Include scanner SSM food.

In the main menu (MAIN MENU) choose subsection «Each System Check» and press a key «YES». Further, in the field of a system choice {System Selection Menu} choose point {Transmission Control System} and again press button "YES". After a conclusion of data on type АТ press «YES» once again.

In the field {Transmission Diagnosis} choose point {Diagnostic Code (s) Display} and press a key «YES».

Further make a choice of type of the deduced data: last kept codes ({Latest Diagnostic Code (s)}), or the full list stored in memory of the processor of codes ({Memorized Diagnostic Code (s)}), - confirm a choice with key pressing «YES».

Reading of the current data

In the field {Transmission Diagnosis} choose point {Current Data Display and Save} (to Show and keep the current data) and press button "YES". Further, in the menu of a conclusion of the data {Data Display Menu} choose point {Data Display} and press button "YES". For display of the necessary data move under the list by means of scrolling buttons.

 More detailed description of procedure of reading of the current data by means of SSM can be found in the instruction on scanner application.

Without application SSM (on light indicator "POWER")

Warm up the engine to normal working temperature, then switch off ignition and again start the engine. Make a small trip with a speed not less than 20 km/h.

Park the car and at the squeezed out pedal of a foot brake translate selector AT lever in position «1». Switch off and again include ignition.

Make following switchings of the lever of the selector: «2» — «1» — «2» — «3» — «D».

If the indicator at the included blinks with frequency of 4 Hz (one gleam everyone 0.125 (1/8) seconds), check up a condition of chains of giving of a food and grounding. Otherwise pass to a following stage of check.

Switch off ignition: if frequency of a blinking of the indicator makes 2 Hz (one gleam everyone 0.25 (1/4) seconds), hence, АТ as it should be. Otherwise pass to a following stage of check. If the indicator highlights brought in memory of the processor codes DTC, copy the deduced data. If the alarm indicator continues to burn, check up its chain on presence of signs of short circuit, make necessary corrections.

 


Clearing of memory of the processor


With application SSM

In the main menu (MAIN MENU) choose point {Each System Check} and press a key «YES». Then in the field {System Selection Menu} choose {Transmission Control System} and press button "YES". After a conclusion to the screen of the monitor of the data about type АТ press a key «YES» once again.

In the field {Transmission Diagnosis} (transmission Diagnostics) choose point {Clear Memory} and press button "YES".

After a conclusion of messages «Done» and «Turn Ignition Switch Off» switch off SSM and ignition.

Without application SSM


Removal of the displayed display of codes is made by ignition deenergizing.

Nevertheless, previous flowing codes remain written down in memory of processor TCM a food on which moves from a reserve source. For full clearing of memory it is necessary to take a minimum for one minute included in a chain of the reserve power supply a safety lock № 4 on the right/at the left under the panel of devices.
