The system of onboard self-diagnostics reveals malfunctions and refusals of under control elements and keeps in memory of the processor corresponding diagnostic codes (DTC) to number of under control elements of system of self-diagnostics АТ concern:
a) the Back gauge of speed of the car (VSS);
b) the Forward gauge of speed of the car (VSS);
c) the Gauge of position throttle заслонки (TPS);
d) the Electromagnetic valve of switching 1;
e) the Electromagnetic valve of switching 2;
f) the Distributive electromagnetic valve of a brake 2-4;
g) the Executive electromagnetic valve of blocking of the hydrotransformer;
h) the Executive electromagnetic valve of the distributing device;
i) the Gauge of temperature ATF;
j) the Chain of a signal of turns of the engine;
k) the Executive electromagnetic valve of pressure in a line;
l) the Chain of a signal of loading АТ;
m) the Chain of a signal of management of twisting moment distribution;
n) the Executive electromagnetic valve of a brake 2-4;
o) the Distributive electromagnetic valve of coupling of lowering transfers;

Order of functioning of the light indicator of inclusion of a mode of the raised capacity (POWER)
In a normal situation light indicator "POWER" is activated at inclusion of ignition of the engine and should go out after approximately 2 seconds after realisation of start of the engine.
At revealing of any infringements the indicator after start realisation at first is disconnected, then again is activated in a flashing mode.
Reading of codes of malfunctions of diagnostics of malfunctions and SSM
The conclusion brought in memory of processor DTC is made by means of the light indicator of inclusion of a mode «POWER» under the following scheme:
a) the Blinking with frequency of 4 Hz testifies to revealing of refusals of type of infringement of giving of a food from the battery;
b) the Blinking with frequency specifies of 2 Hz in absence of the infringements revealed by system;
c) By means of a blinking with variable duration and frequency of repetition of gleams the indicator highlights kept in memory of the processor diagnostic codes;
d) Continuous burning of the indicator testifies to infringement in a chain of the gauge-switch of the permission of start or the gauge of turns of idling.
Reading brought in memory of the processor of codes DTC АТ, no less than removal of performance data of separate gauges and gauges-switches, can be made by means of firm input reader Subaru (SSM), connected to the socket under the panel of devices of the car. The list of codes of malfunctions АТ is resulted in Specifications in the beginning of the present Chapter.
Mode of emergency functioning
The mode of emergency functioning provides the minimum adequate level of controllability of the car in default gauges of speed of the car (VSS), the gauge of position throttle заслонки (TPS), the gauge-switch of the permission of start (Р/N). And also any of operating electromagnetic valves. The description of a principle of functioning of control system АТ is more low resulted at refusal of each of the listed elements.
At refusal of one of gauges of speed (VSS) TCM it is switched to use of a corresponding entrance signal about frequency of rotation of a target shaft of the transmission arriving from second (serviceable) VSS. In default both gauges the range of functioning АТ is limited only to 1st and 3rd transfers.
At infringement of serviceability of functioning of the gauge of position throttle заслонки (TPS), TCM starts to use as a corresponding entrance signal some fixed preestablished value.
If as a result of refusal of the gauge-switch of the permission of start (Р/N) on TCM various signals start to arrive simultaneously some, the module begins to adhere to the following priority sequence: D — N (P) — R — 3 — 2 — 1.
At refusal of any of electromagnetic valves of switchings 1 or 2 both valves деактивируются, and transmission is blocked on 3rd transfer.
At refusal of the executive electromagnetic valve of pressure in a line its deactivation is made, and pressure in a line rises to the maximum value for the purpose of maintenance of the guaranteed working capacity of the car.
At refusal of the executive electromagnetic valve of blocking of the hydrotransformer its deactivation, and blocking муфты is made acts in film.
Deactivation of the executive electromagnetic valve of the distributing device as a result of its refusal leads to giving on distributing муфту the maximum pressure of oil that corresponds to constant transfer of a twisting moment to back wheels (a condition of direct joint AWD).
At refusal of the executive electromagnetic valve of a brake 2-4, and also distributive electromagnetic valves of coupling of lowering transfers and a brake 2-4, they деактивируются, and the range of functioning АТ is limited only to 1st and 3rd transfers.
Refusal of the gauge of turns of the turbine of the hydrotransformer also leads to restriction of working ranges of transmission by 1st and 3rd transfers.
