Removal and installation of camshafts
Details of installation of components of assemblage of camshafts and a head of cylinders
REMOVAL
CHECK

|
1. Having laid a shaft special prisms of the V-shaped form, with the help циферблатного a measuring instrument плунжерного type define size of its radial palpation. Estimate deterioration degree подшипниковых necks. In case of need make corresponding regenerative repair, or replace a shaft. |
2. Measure external diameters of necks of a camshaft and internal diameters of beds of corresponding bearings in a head of cylinders. By subtraction of result of the first measurement from result of the second define size of working backlashes of bearings. Compare results of calculations to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace a shaft, or a head.

3. Estimate a condition of working surfaces of cams of a shaft. Minor defects can be eliminated by means of a grinding stone. Measure geometrical parametres of cams. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace a shaft. |

4. With the help циферблатного a measuring instrument плунжерного type define size axial люфта camshafts. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace a shaft support. |

INSTALLATION
|
|
|
1. Put a layer of impellent oil on necks of a camshaft and establish it.
2. Put on perimetre of an interfaced surface of a cover of a camshaft hermetic Three Bond 1280B P/N K0877YA018. The hermetic pillow should have mm section 3 in diameter (A) and is imposed on edge (B) a contact surface of a cover ().
3. Temporarily tighten as increase in serial numbers bolts with (7) on (10).
4. Establish assemblage коромысел (see Has undressed Removal, check of a condition and installation of elements of a drive of valves).
5. Operating in strictly certain order, tighten with demanded effort bolts of fastening of assemblage коромысел (see Has undressed Removal, check of a condition and installation of elements of a drive of valves).
6. By means of a special key of type TORX PLUS (ST 499497000), moving in ascending order serial numbers, tighten with demanded effort (18 Nanometers) bolts with (11) on (16).
7. Operating in ascending order serial numbers, tighten with demanded effort (10 Nanometers) bolts with (3) on (9).
8. Operating in ascending order serial numbers, tighten with demanded effort (10 Nanometers) bolts (1) and (2).

9. Preliminary having greased sealing sponges, by means of special оправки (ST 499597000) and prorates ST 499587500 plant on a camshaft pin the NEW epiploon () (see сопр. An illustration). |
10. By means of the adaptation for installation of epiploons ST 499587700 plant into place заглушку.
11. Make adjustment клапанных backlashes (the Section Check and adjustment клапанных backlashes see).
12. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders and connect a ventilation hose картера (PCV).
