1. Engine H6 is supported by specially developed elastic support filled with a liquid. Each support is rigidly attached to the engine in three points. Support are capable to reduce effectively level of vibrations and noise thanks to presence of the membrane established between two chambers filled by a liquid. The similar design allows to reduce a springing constant of a support.
2. A design and details of installation of support of a suspension bracket of the power unit are shown on an illustration.
3. Remove the power unit (see Has undressed Removal of the power unit from the car - performance and safety measure methods).
4. Remove support from the unit and attentively check up rubber pillows on presence of signs of ageing of a material, deformations, cracks and other mechanical damages.
5. Installation is made upside-down. |
