Diagnostics of malfunctions - the general information and preliminary checks The general information
The subsystem of self-diagnostics intended for revealing of infringements is integrated into a control system of the engine, preservations of codes of malfunctions and search of causes of failures. At revealing of infringement the management module writes down in memory of the processor a corresponding code of malfunction (DTC). The reason of failures in engine work, it is possible to localise by the data read-out, stored in memory of the block of self-diagnostics ECM more often. After refusal will be identified, it is possible to pass to performance of checks of a condition and serviceability of functioning of corresponding knots and components. Remember that it is not enough visual check of a condition of electroconducting and its contact sockets, - necessarily consider the information stored in memory of the module of management (the Section System of onboard self-diagnostics (OBD) - the general information see). Preliminary checks If malfunction has arisen soon after service of any knot, first of all, carefully check up a corresponding element. Probably, the reason is covered in negligence of installation of a component or connection to it of a contact socket of electroconducting. Moving from an air inlet to an air cleaner and further to the throttle case, be convinced of absence of signs of development of leaks in an inlet air path (including vacuum hoses).
